Great read, Jason! Do you view marketing and audience building tactics through the same lens? There's certain things that I might consider cheap, and "not my style" that seem to work for others, but I can't bring myself to do them. Thinking of threadboi type of stuff.
Same here. I can't bring myself to do it too now because I use twitter very differently now, even though I've tried threads in the past. But I think if the threads educates, provides value, gets the impressions and generates revenue or helps me reach my goals, I'll do it. What I won't want to do is post rage/drama bait just for engagement, which I find fake, inauthentic and ethically grey. (it's fine if it's occasional and it's a topic one feels passionate about I feel, and have real thoughts to share, instead of just for views)
