New streak: Marketing365
One marketing task a day. For 365 days.
I started a new streak habit for marketing! Marketing365 will make me accountable to do as much marketing as building. A spin-off and add-on to Commit365.
I simply created a Github repo marketing365, add a 2025 folder, add a 2025--marketing365.md file, commit my marketing activities to it daily.
Bonus: Also started the same folder/file in my all my project repos to track project-specific marketing tasks.
With my HUGE backlog of marketing tasks for my current projects, this new streak will be easy to start.
I don’t know why I took this long. I knew this all along, but never acted. Yet somehow I felt inspired recently, and went “fk it”, and just did it. Maybe the nudge came from writing this post about marketing daily as one of the conditions for success.
Maybe that’s the missing element all along.
Just marketing consistently.
As consistent as my building.
Maybe.
Probably.
Hopefully.

That sounds like a great idea! May I ask you to share a condensed "how it went" every now and then? I do hate marketing, but I know its importance and would love to hear what your lessons learned are, what worked, what didn't work and what would you do differently a second time?
