MySpace Tom energy
Earn money and get tf out of there
Remember Tom Anderson who built MySpace? The precursor to Facebook? He sold MySpace for $580M in 2005 and then retired in his 30s to do photography. Now he just posts his photos on social media and keeps a low profile. Privacy and personal fulfilment over fame and fortune. No tech CEO turned investor and tech philosopher BS.
That’s the energy I’m after.
Just work hard, do well, get to financial freedom, and then get tf out of there.
I won’t need $580M though. Financial freedom doesn’t need to get to that number to have it. If I earn like say, $10k a month and live in a low cost location, that’s already pretty much like financial freedom.
Anything more is nice, but not necessary.
That’s the endgame I’m after.
By the way, just shipped another Carrd plugin this month.
A free Carrd plugin template to embed a PDF doc hosted elsewhere (like say, on Google Drive).
Great for authors, educators, creators, to share ebooks, reports, forms, menus, all without redirecting the user out of your site.
