Sometimes I whine about the struggles of today. But seeing this scene made me pause.
Andy’s right.
If there’s a time where it’s the good old days of my indie hacking journey, this is it.
The early 4am mornings pushing code.
The sleep deprivation, but motivated anyway.
The lockdowns and crazy rules.
The month after month of zero revenue.
The first time I held my child.
The days when my app goes down.
The moments when I went viral.
The time when I earned my first MRR dollar.
The night feeds.
The times I passed $100 MRR.
The disbelief when I passed $1k revenue.
The self doubt if I can actually achieve the success I want.
The disappointment when a product fails.
The exhilaration when a product works.
The embarrassing, painful moments with marketing.
The proud moments when your code works.
The head bashing days when your code doesn’t.
The close shaves when I almost didn’t make it past the year.
The exhaustion from trying to balance it all.
The poignant pauses from writing it all down.
So here’s to the good old days, before I leave them.
Here’s to our good old days. 🍻
Cheers to what happened, and more cheers for the more memories you'll make! Let's enjoy every moment
Day is the only metric that makes sense. Let's celebrate! 🍻
