Freedom stack, v.2025

What's your freedom stack?

I wrote about my freedom stack a year ago:

I often talk about how I’m not in software for the money but the freedom that the work and the money bring. So what’s the set of locations, methods and resources I need that would give me that freedom?

Maybe it’s time an update for year 2025.

The freedom stack I’m working towards:

– Singapore citizenship, as home base for all assets
– Bali as a second home, as an autumn retreat, with business visa
– Kyoto in spring, for inspiration
– Iceland for summer, for some nordic magic
– Cities like Bangkok, Chiangmai and countries in Southeast Asia for getaways
– ≥$10k (ideally $20k) monthly revenue from all my products
– 2-3 profitable SaaS that I love working on
– Location independence for my work
– A remote counselling career for my wife
– Remote worldschooling for my son
– Able to pay for airfare for parents’ visit anytime
